Just returned from the Sol Mirlos July 2008. Very good hotel,staff very pleasant,lots of choice in the restaurant good value for money hotel.the only downfall you have to get up at the crack of dawn for a sunbed.and with only two lifts for the entire hotel you would not want to be on a high floor.Good location and close to the beach.

the position of this hotel is great.smack in the middle of palmanova and magaluf,so u get the choice of nite out being left or right.thats if u want to go out becouse the entertainment is good as well.fantasticfor familys and couples alike.somthing going off every minute off the day if u want it or to sunbath loads of beds.good food n plenty of it.the bottle of wine i got with my meal i could take anywhere in the hotel to drink.all inclusive worth every penny n trust me ive been on afew.we had a problem on our last day n the staff could not have helped anymore than they did.im 50 n i went with my 20yr old daughter we had agreat time,im already booking to go back with our husbands.i go to majorca alot becouse of the cheap flights n this is now my hotel to stay.x

This hotel has excellent facilities for children who are kept occupied most of the time. The children's entertainers do a first class job. The food is of a good standard for all inclusive with plenty to choose from for all. The downside to the hotel is that both hotels have very small pools, certainly not big enough for peak season. The Tordos seems to be where all the families with children are placed so you can imagine it is very busy and noisy. If you want a more relaxed atmosphere then definately state that you want the Mirlos. Majorca is a great place and this hotel is situated only 5-10 minutes walk into Magaluf. I would definately recommend Sol hotels for children but not for couples or singles.
