This is basically a nice little hotel although at first we would not have said this because they clearly have two standards of accommodation based in different parts of the hotel. Unfortunately we were allocated a room in the lower standard part and were shocked at how basic, grubby and noisy it was. However, when I expressed some disatisfaction to the manager he immediately gave us another room in the main part of the hotel and this was lovely. My only concern is that we were given a room in the awful part first as we did note that all the people in the better rooms were Germans. Was this some kind of Brit discrimination we wondered. Once in the better part of the hotel we could find nothing to complain about. The staff were extremely nice. The food was mediocre but fine - I think the usual buffet style that you find in many tourist hotels. The hotel had a nice swimming pool, courtyard and bar. It is situated within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and beach areas. There is actually a private path from the rear of the hotel down to the water. We thought overall it was good value for money but would advise anyone going there to ensure they ask for a room in the main part of the hotel and not the outside annexe. More >> |
