Basic family run hotel. Opern from April to September. Friendly owner, Jorge Payeras who speaks excellent English and German. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable although basic. Breakfast consists of a roll and a croisant with margarine and jam and either a slice of cheese or ham and as much tea and coffee as you wish. The position could not be much more central. It is quiet and serves as a good value base, but don't expect any nightlife or entertainment at the hotel. No air conditioning, but fan rental at €15 a week makes a big difference One minute from the centre and importantly close to bus stops and taxi rank (very handy when returning to the airport), and only 20 minutes to Palma on the 15 bus. Choice of beaches, either is only five minutes away, either the cala Estancia or main beach that stretches five kilometers to Arenal and has "Balneario" facilities that include a cafe and toilets, and sun loungers and umbrellas at €4.55 a day and lovely clean beach. Cala Estancia beach is a smaller pretty curved beach with sun loungers and umbrellas and plenty of sea front cafe's.
