We cannot fault the JARDIM DEL MAR,in Santa Ponsa,,we stayed their for a week at Easter,,,,the food was excellent,,the rooms were clean and fresh,though a bit cramped as their was 4 of us,,,but the pool area,s and the views were fantastic,,lovely walk along the path to the beach,,,,would recommend this hotel,,,,,,,,

Have just returned from the Jardin del Mar, had a very enjoyable time. The resort is ideal for families and the hotel was above what we excpected for what we paid, although I think we were quite lucky in the apartment we stayed in which had a fantastic hugh balcony overlooking the sea. I think the apartment had been updated more recently than the others. The hotel was clean all the staff were nice.The only thing that was a down side was the pool was small for the number or guests. The location was at the quieter end of Santa Ponsa but only a short walk from all the bars and restraunts. Would most certainly go back.

we were given a ground floor room facing bushes - no lateral sea view at all.Ants on balcony and in room.Fridge leaked (very old).We complained and were moved to a much better room next day.We were asked to do this quickly and to put all bags luggage on balcony in new room as maid was still busy. we went downstairs for a while and when we returned bags (plastic) with straighteners/Clinique skin products / childs watch and medecine a little food and other items were missing.we think maid may have removed accidentally thinking they were rubbish. reported immediately but desk people at the time spoke little english.they arranged and paid for replacement medicine (antibiotic) but accepted no responsibility for the loss of the belongings. had they put us in a decent room to start with none of this would have happened.

stayed at the jardin del mar santa ponsa. have stayed many times in santa ponsa and as always thoroughly enjoyed my holiday, hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful, rooms basic but clean and what more do you really need on holiday, towels changed daily, only gripe was that i was put on the side of the hotel which offers a lovely view of the apartment block next door, if however you stay here and are fortunate enough to get one of the many rooms facing the sea you wont be dissapointed. overall this hotel gives excellent value for money and is in a great location.

Very good all round really. Pool and play area were fantastic for the kids and the staff were very friendly. Only criticism would be that self catering facilities were poor, two electric rings (no oven or microwave) make it hard to cook a variety of meals for two kids. Otherwise as a family we were really, really impressed.
