Please Enter the Comments / Review about the hotel in this area The only reason I have given an average mark for location is that the last 50 meters require you to be part mountain goat.That said the views from the observation platform that is part of the Hotel are absolutely breathtaking.All the members of staff were very polite and friendly and helpful.Looking down from the viewing area there is just about every type of sailing vessel known to man in the extremely large marina.Views into Palma itself including the Cathedral,Museum,Windmills,a fortress and much much more.Which makes me think my average score for location may be very unkind.

Fantastic hotel beatiful veiw you can see the whole of the Palma fom the hotel canot fault this hotel the staff were so freindly nothing was too much trouble Down side is if you are not very fit it is on a hill but a taxi only costs 4E to get up the hill which is worth it you will not see a better veiw from the hotel bar it is absolutly amazing Thankyou to the staff of Horizonte for making our stay so nice

Unfortunately we needed a hotel in an emergency and there were few vacancies this particular weekend so as they say "any port in a storm" The room was clean and adequate for our needs but given the choice of booking for a holiday I would never book this hotel. Although clean it was very run down with thread bare carpeting on the stairs, breakfast was poor but you would not starve. Necessary to be in peak fitness (especially if elderly) to be able to walk to/from the hotel as no restaurants or bars nearby, otherwise it means taxis. However, staff all pleasant enough. Beautiful view of marina from our balcony. Noisy hotel at nights ---- some people staying there had very little respect for others when they came in 3-4 am.

Location was ok but parking was near impossible! Rooms were clean but sparse and the outside area was in need of a serious over haul! quiet untill somebody next door or above moved, went to the bathroom, showered etc! Pool area was great.

This hotel does not welcome stag parties, no one will tell you this until you have arrived. The hotel manager will then threaten to throw you out because you have deceived him by not booking as a group. Not a very welcoming start!! Stag parties make sure you book a hotel that wants you there.

THE HORIZONTE IS A BASIC HOTEL HENCE THE PRICE!! THE LOCATION FOR ME WAS TOO FAR FROM THE CENTRE. IT WAS UP A STEEP HILL TOO STEEP TO WALK EVEN FOR THE YOUNG AND ABLE, I WAS THERE WITH MY DAUGHTER ... I'M 52 YEAR AND SHES 25 YEARS ... AND IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR US!!!. WE THEREFORE HAD TO TAXI IT UP AND DOWN THE HILL. IF YOUR DOING THAT 4 TIMES A DAY [RETURN JOURNEY MORNINGS FOR SHOPPING THEN EVENINGS FOR MEALS]THEN IT'S EXPENSIVE YOU WOULD B E BETTER PAYING THE EXTRA FOR A BETTER HOTEL IN THE HEART OF THE CITY. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AROUND THE HOTEL .... NO BARS ... OR RESTAURANTS ... YOUR BASICALLY TRAPPED IN A TOURIST CLASS HOTEL .... NOT A NICE PLACE TO SPEND A DAY AND NIGHT, IT WAS THEN NECESSARY TO GO DOWN HILL. I WOULDN'T GO BACK FOR A LITTLE EXTRA YOU COULD STAY IN THE COSTA AZUL ON THE PORT FRONT OR THE BORN IN THE HEART OF THE CITY. I WOULD RATE THIS HOTEL ON A SCALE OF 1 - 10 WITH 1 BEING DISASTROUS ..... AS A ZERO!!
