The rooms were clean but basic we had plug sockets and lights that didnt work and it was generally tatty. The water out of the shower just trickled and the toilet didnt flush properly. The lifts were tiny and one didnt work the whole time we were there.The staff were very friendly.

We found the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and tidy, the food was not gourmet standard but was very good considering the budget price that we paid. The hotel provided entertainment on several nights at the poolside. The resort centre and the very good beach were only two minutes walk away. We would go back to the Don Jaime and would recommend it to anyone.

My partner and I have just returned from a week's holiday at the Don Jaime hotel and apartments in Cala Millor. Having read the reviews prior to our holiday, I was concerned about what it was going to be like, and informed my partner to "expect the worst". I am delighted to say that we were pleasantly surprised by our accommodation. We chose to stay in the apartments, which are located just across a very quiet road from the main hotel. Our apartment looked out onto the pool area, and the apartment was clean and very spacious, and had everything we needed. Some will say that the apartments are run down and in need of re-decoration and modernising. Yes, I would agree, the rooms could have done with a lick of paint, and some of the cupboard doors were loose or didn't close properly, but for what we paid, and for how long we were in our apartment, it didn't bother us at all. Its not our home, so it doesn't matter if the light fittings are not quite right etc. If you do not go looking for fault, you will be fine. Our apartment was cleaned every day, fresh towels every day, beds made, bins emptied etc, which was great. The pool area is wonderful, a nice, decent size with a small children's area, the water was lovely and warm, and the pool and the surrounding area was kept very clean. We always managed to get a sunbed, and it was not overcrowed round the pool. The resort itself is beautiful, the beach and sea are amazing, only a 2 min walk away, plenty of places to eat.

This hotel was a lot better than we expected it to be. It is much nicer than the pictures you see on the net. It was really good value for money. We got half board, the food isn't fantastic but if you are on a budget then it is fine. We arrived at 11pm on the first night and we were offered a light dinner from the receptionist which was very kind. The staff were friendly. 5 minute walk to beach. I would recommend this hotel.
