| Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean hotel with decent size rooms and nice outdoor seating and pool areas. Would recommend to someone looking for a short break. |

reception staff in general appeared to be anti-tourist and totally disinterested in any problems which may upset the routine. example- the cable car to the bottom road broke down for 3 days - and when it was indicated that we had a mobility problem and found it very difficult to walk the banks up and down to the bus stop , it was stated that we could always get taxis - albeit that there was another exit down to the road. | I would certainly return. The only improvement I could suggest is in directions to the hotel including its own fernicular. |

February in Majorca can be a pleasant break from the bitter cold of the UK.
Previously we have stayed at the 2 star Horizonte over the road from the Hotel Catalonia - Majorica. Whilst the Horizonte was basic, very clean and provided a reasonable breakfast, this year was an opportunity to upgrade to the 'decent looking 4 star' hotel over the road.
Other than the additional cost thats where the differences ended. The room was okay, breakfast and service about the same and if anything the 4 star failed to live up to 2 star cleanliness and freshness.
In summary, between the 2 hotels save yourself a lot of money and go to the Horizonte and use the money saved to eat in decent restaurants in Palma. More >> |

Whilst we were there, we encountered several cockroaches and silver fish. There was also a bad/damp smell in the hotel. The indoor pool looked dirty and so we did not use it. The staffs attitude was very rude and un-helpful. Also we had to pay to use the safes, which was not mentioned before hand. In the bedroom the socket was not properly fixed to the wall, which was un-safe. And the door frame out to the balcony was not properly attached to the wall and therefore , would have been easy for someone to break into the room. Not a good stay! :( :( :( More >> |

The only potential problem is lack fo parking for any guests, like us, who had picked up a car from the airport for touring round the island. We were fortunate, staying off season and found on road parking nearby. Apart from this the hotel was excellent and I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Palma. More >> |

The hotel is excellent and offers magnificent panoramic views of most of the Palma waterfront in a truelly stunning location. Whilst set on a hillside which will test those not of sound mind and limb the views from the hotel are more than worth the effort! More >> |
