A very good hotel in a very good area with access to local transport on the doorstep. Also alll the city highlights were in walking distance including the information bureau. We needed to stay another night in the hotel due to unforseen circumstances and were charged a full room rate for the privilige which was twice the price of the rate we booked. Rather dissappointed with Hotel in this instance.

If you are going to stay in the Tryp Belver in Palma I would highly recommend that you chose a sea view as it is beautiful and the room is much larger that the standard room (although the reception staff will say that it is not!) Do not pay 17.10 for a continental breakfast as there are plenty of cafes along the marina where breakfast is far cheaper.

Great location overlooking the Marina and near a bus stop for the airport. 20 mins walk to the old town. Had to change room due to "noise" from a vent but this was done quickly. Reception staff were accomodating but not overly friendly and made no apology for change. It was the technical staff that apologised! Rooms are very nice and big but bathrooms could be updated given that this is a 4 star hotel. Overall would recomment this hotel.

THERE WAS 10 WOMEN ON THIS TRIP. WE WERE GIVEN ROOMS ALL ON THE SAME FLOOR NEAR EACH OTHER. THEY WERE SMOKING ROOMS BUT WE WERE TOLD IF THEY DID NOT SUIT US WE COULD CHANGE. ONE PASSENGER LOST ALL HER LUGGAGE AND THE HOTEL STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN TRYING TO LOCATE IT BUT IT NEVER TURNED UP. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLANT, PLENTY. YOU NEED TO ASK FOR VERY HOT WATER FOR THE TEA...
