the espahotel is a little gem right in the heart of madrid staff were great rooms were superb even a fridge and microwave and for the price you couldent ask for more and would highly recomend the hotel for anyone staying in madrid youll not be dissapointed.

The hotel was fine just a bit of scaffolding to the front but no significant building noise, the traffic noise wasnt noticeable either as the windows could stay shut and we used the air conditioning. It was great having a fridge and hob in the room, although we only used the fridge. Location to metro was brill. Breakfast just a piece of toast, croissant, juice and coffee, but could have probably upgraded to Full English.

Excellent position, near the palace, but had to take metro to Prado, and football stadium, but very easy to do. Hotel itself, were told it had parking facilities, but turned out to be the local parking underground lot. Luckily it was a holiday so could park in the street otherwise would have been a problem. Had booked double bed, and single offered, but complained so given a suite with kitchenette at no extra charge, otherwise room would have been very small, but with the suite was perfect. Room food ok, very cheap, and quick. Unfortuntaley air con not working so very hot and stuffy in dinning room, which was very comfortable with armchairs. Staff very pleasant and helpful, the lift was quick too, and three of them which made it better. All in all a delightful,comfortable stay.

I had a very enjoyable weekend break in Madrid with my two sisters. We thought the hotel was excellent value for money, the facilities were very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definately book this hotel again and recommend it to others.
