Reception and lounge area were very nice Impressive!! The actual bedroom was VERY DISSAPOINTING!!!! No way a4star.Clean but old fashioned furniture,Pre war ! Need total refurb.And the bed had to be the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in in my LIFE!!! you could actually feel the spring as well as feel them when you moved!!! Location was great right in centre of action and right by metro station. Breakfast very dissapointing

This trip enabled us to have a well earned rest. We went to Madrid just to chill out and relax and the pool area was great for doing this. The hotel was clean and the reception staff were always helpful. The room was clean but alittle small and we had two single beds pushed together which is obviously not the best for a romantic break.

We booked one double & one triple room, The triple room (no 801) was nice & light however I would not recommend the other room(no 820) as it was very dark & gloomy (although nicely furnished). The window looked out over a back alley/fire escape and there was virtually no natural light coming into the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay & found the hotel ideally located for all the major sights. The staff were very helpful but service in the lobby bar was a bit slow.

we booked into a standard room which turned out to be the size of a dog box and the veiw was a brick wall so the only way to escape the prison they put us in was to upgrade the next day to a junior suite which cost an extra €300!!! there was no manager available all weekend to speak to about my disappointment so we ended just paying the extra for some basic comfort! i wouldnt recommend the standard room it really but a dampner on our first day to the city and the extra money spent on upgrading put a major dent in our spending money!
