Very good location, cleaned rooms; There were no towels in the room, I had to go to the reception and ask for them, as they don't leave the reception phone number in the room. No remote control available. No bin in the toilet. At breakfast we had the feeling to be in a hostel: just coffee and toasts!!I have been in better places for the same money. Read Less

We enjoyed the location of this hotel, which is very near the Earl's Court tube station and surrounding businesses, including a grocery store open late at night, a pub, and a bakery with fresh baked goods for breakfast. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was quite minimal, and the triple room we had was EXTREMELY small with barely any room to even walk between the beds. During our stay, a leak developed in the bathroom from the room above, so we had dripping water to contend with for 2-3 days. We liked the quiet atmosphere of South Kensington though, and the Gloucester Road tube stop was also pretty close along with a laundromat in that direction. But compared to the other hotels we stayed at during our trip to the Cotswolds and Amsterdam, this was by far the smallest and worst value. Perhaps that's London, I don't know because we don't have another comparison within the city. The staff was friendly and booked a bus tour for us; however, they also required a 20-pound deposit just to turn on the telephone in our room. Read Less

Booked a single - received a basement tiny twin-bedded room with 2'6" beds. View onto barbed wire topped wall and builders equipment. Curtain hanging off hooks ( I re-fixed) Door to shower room needed cleaning, and bedroom wall badly marked/ scuffed.
All the room socket switches were turned on, although no appliances were attached - very dangerous if a small child was staying. Sugar was provided with tea/coffee but no spoon. There was no remote control for TV (which was wall mounted high up)
Worst thing was there was no heating on in room, and the single stained blanket slid off bed 2nd night of stay, with result I got very cold.
Would have expected duvets to be basic to any hotel today.
Just adequate for two nights stay, and in good location for my visit, but needs basic improvements -redec/better bedding, and more awareness of customers comfort.
