The room wasn't any big at all, the people that greeted us in the reception didn't seem polite, which kinda was the attitude I felt through the place. The breakfast was also very small, one of the smallest ones I ever ate at a hotel/apartment. So I myself will never book here again, sorry, and I wouldn't recommend it. The building itself is nice, good atmosphere, but that doesn't last. Read Less

Very nice and comfortable hotel. I wouldn't call it luxury as the name suggests, but it really had everything I could possibly need. Large room, proper bed (not a sofabed like in most serviced apartments), desk, data port, DVD player, kitchenette (supplied with washing up liquid and sponge - again, these are minor things but you do miss them when they are not there!), large bathroom with a heated towel rail, a radiator with temperature control in the studio. Everything worked well - no faulty lights, cold radiators or missing bath plugs! The continental breakfast was served in a large conservatory-style room and included hot and cold drinks (self-served from the machine), cheese, yogurts, cakes, toast, jam, fruit, cereals. Nothing special but perfectly adequate. I stayed for three nights and didn't feel any discomfort. On the down side, I would mention that although the interrior design is modern, it is not quite new. One of the chairs had an unsightly spot on it and so did the duvet. The basin was a bit shaky and there was a crack on the bathroom floor. Also, there was no coffee maker in the studio (only a kettle and a supply of instant coffee) and just two sets of cutlery of dishes - if you expect guests you might need more glasses and plates (I suppose it can be arranged if necessary). All in all,it was one of the best places I stayed in London for this price. Will definitely stay there again myself and recommend to anyone. Read Less

this was a cheap room we had but nevertheless with money to spend next time i would not choose the somerset bayswater i felt they were very rude to deal with an dcompletely ignored a request for my laundry to be done after i had asked for directions etc as to where to leave the nominated plastic bag....this was a huge inconvenience for me and disrupted my business holiday but they were not at all applogetic. The services provided basically did not exsist and the room was not cleaned on sundays which was completely strange to us. i will use your service to search for rooms again but i will not stay at the somerset bayswater.
