I would happily stay here again. Friendly staff, good continental breakfast and efficient service. I did not the use the restaurants or bar so cannot comment on them. A quiet room and a bed with feather pillows meant I had a restful night. Lancaster Gate tube is just round the corner. Read Less

The hotel was hard to find after an hour I managed to find it. The location was excellent at breakfast looking over Hide Park and very near to the tube, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. I will certainly book the hotel again. The only fault I have is the price of the bar and the menu not that it spoiled our over night stay had a great time. Read Less

Typically pretentious central London hotel. Slow check-in. Very ordinary rooms, offering no facilities for ironing or trouser pressing and no facilities for tea/coffee making. Television very old and not very reliable. Bathroom clean but old-fashioned. Both bath and basin waste slow to drain. Basin waste leaked over floor. Supplement payable to upgrade inclusive breakfast to either continental (+?7.50) or full english (+?11.50) quite absurd. Adequate on an internet-priced bed, roll and juice basis, but not recommended on a full-price basis. Read Less

Decor is very traditional and a bit old fashioned.
Staff are all foreign, which is awkward.
Other than that it's fine.
