There are two negatives about this hotel -
1. This is first hotel where we have stayed where there is a charge for the swimming pool i.e. #7.50. Whilst we now undertsand that the fitness club is a concession, this is very bad for customer relations.
2. The room was far too hot and the air conditiong was very weak. This meant that we sweltered in the heat all night even though the air conditiong was on full on cold (checked by the porter). Read Less

Very disappointed with our room we were allocated. We thought we were related to Ann Frank!! The room was tiny with very scruffy furniture and the bathroom was minute. We complained and were moved to an alternative room which was better. Rooms do not seem to resemble the pitures shown on websit. Perfect location though and breakfast was good. Read Less

My fiance and I have been to London separately and were anxiously anticipating our first trip to London together...which turned out to be fantastic. Unfortunately, the hotel was not part of that positive experience. We found the accomodations to be lacking in amenities. Our king-size bed was actually two double beds pushed together; needless to say, it made for an uncomfortable rest. We found the concierge, room service and maintenance staff to be superb; however, there was a small incident where money was removed from our room, while we were at breakfast...quite disappointing for a four star hotel. And don't believe the hype, there isn't a Beefeater doorman as depicted in their advertising. Overall, I believe this hotel is overrated!! Read Less

I found reception to be quite unhelpful in particular, I left a written message and 2 telephone calls for a guest of mine. When the guest turned up to the hotel, these messages were not passed on causing a missed appointment. My guest asked to use the phone and was told no. Fortunately we just happened to see each other in the street but over 3 hours had passed and this could have been prevented if message had been given. One thing, I was booked in as Mrs Edwards but the hotel had me down as Mr Edwards causing confusion for my visiting guest. Read Less

WE love the Rembrandt and will definitely make it our London location in future trips. Everyone (from maids to concierge to front desk to restaurant staff) treated us with utmost courtesy. Your breakfasts are wonderful. We, the Glenn Hoods, placed all the reservations for ourselves and two other couples, the Kelly Smiths and the Paul Neills. You did not send a questionnaire to us, the Hoods, but we are answering Mr. Neills' questionnaire on behalf of all six of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Rembrandt. Read Less
