I was greeted by a filthy, smelly room with cigarette burns in the bedding and a broken window I brought this to the attention of t.... click here to readmore >> I was greeted by a filthy, smelly room with cigarette burns in the bedding and a broken window I brought this to the attention of the receptionist on my way out to a appointment he said ?he would sort it for my return? on my return he told me that he had sent ?someone ?to my room but it had my stuff in it luckily nothing was stolen. Also he had now given my alterative room away to this same person. I then asked to be relocated to a different hotel suddenly there was a another room available (funny that) it was a slight improvement. After a sleepless night with springs from the mattress digging in me I went down for my English Breakfast, only to be told by the waitress that I was only allowed a continental when I approached the same receptionist he refused to listen I had to go back up to my room to recover my original booking form only then was I allowed anaemic mostly cold English breakfast. A t.v that i would say was older than myself! also arrived towards the end of the breakfast period, couldnt find anywhere to sit without having to move everyone elses dirty plates out of the way! even thought there were plenty of staff walking round! have stayed in much nicer hotels for alot cheaper, and closer to the centre!! << click here to read less
