Undoubtedly, the Millennium hotel in Knightsbridge is a geographical gem to any would-be tourist in London. A short stroll (2 mins at most) to the remarkably well serviced underground station on the corner, leaves most of London's attractions on the potential explorer's doorstep. Coupled with this, Harrod's, London's 3rd most popular attraction, backs on to the hotel itself, with its familar chimney pots even visible from some of Millennium's rooms!
Where the patron may find fault with this immaculately decorated, minimilistic, self proclaimed "post-modern" hotel is with the dimensions of one's assigned accomodation. Rooms, are at best "cosy", with very little space outside of the, admittedly, well appointed bed. Added to this, the bathroom's sliding door minus a lock gives the room a distinctly nautical theme, which I cannot imagine the planners aspired to at any point in the hotel's construction.
For those of you opting for this establishment's continental breakfast option, a treat lies in wait. Having eaten such breakfasts in numerous locales, I found the Millennium's C.B. unparalleled with its choice, presentation and service. << Click here to read less

The room that was first offered had a problem with it; there was a a very odd smell about it, hence the Poor score in cleanliness. The staff however, were very helpful in changing the room for much 'sweeter' one in a prompt and professional manner. I would stay at the this hotel again if I need to be in that area in the future. << Click here to read less
