the hotel is 5 mins walking from Hammersmith tube station and 10 mins from Shepherd's Bush tube station and the nearby area is quite and safe.We paid a very low price for 4 nights and so we didn't have great expectations about it.Actually,the room was not so clean when we arrived (some remnant of a hamburger, train tickets on the table..I mean,it looked like nobody set foot on the room) and we had also to wait for it even if we booked it 2 months before.The room was at the 4? floor (no lift obviously), the phone and the hair-dryer didn't work, in one of the 2 beds there was no sheet..Anyway,the hotel is ok for people who want to go around all day long and come back just to sleep..besides,317 ? for two people is a very good rate not to lament for! << click here to read less |

We found the bathroom in this hotel to be substandard. The plug hole in the sink was dirty and grimy and the fixtures needed replacing. The beds were hard and noisy when you turned over at night. I would not stay again. We arrived for breakfast with 10 minutes to go until the breakfast hour finished and were told off by the lady running the kitchen. We made sure we had plenty of time from then onwards. We did pay and book for a full english breakfast but only got continental, they would not serve the hot breakfast to us. It was really not much more than a bed with some space (1 meter maybe) around it, and a big closet for a bathroom. The sheets on the two-person bed were to small for two persons. The room was clean though, and if you're tight on a budget and/or staying just one night, then this may be something for you (altough I wouldn't recommend going to London at all in that case) Breakfast was ok, but you have to sit on each other's lap. << click here to read less |

Two people did not fit in the room, and when you added your luggage there was absolutly no room to walk around. The bathroom was so tiny. When you took a shower, you would bump the water control and change the water temperature. The front desk was not very friendly, but they were not down right hateful either. We were there for 2 days when suddenly we received a visit from the day manager (we were on the third floor). It appeared that the pipes under our shower had started leaking into the room below us. Somehow this was our fault in the eyes of the management and staff because we were supposedly flooding the shower on purpose! They refused to move us the first day it leaked so we received another visit from the day manager the next day. Finally, they decided to move us. We packed up all of our things but they didn't have another room ready so they told us to stop by the front desk when we came back that night. We came back and nobody had bothered to mention it to the desk clerk so we ended up not moving. The next morning, the manager came upstairs upset because we hadn't moved...they moved us finally (with only 2 days of our trip left). Let's just say the room we were put in initially was crap compared to the 2nd room. The room in the pictures on the website are not standard. << click here to read less |

The toilet didn't work well, hardly ever flushed. The bed sheets weren't changed the entire time we were there (6 nights). After they found us a room, we were greeted by a television plug which was in a dangerously bad state of repair and in the morning we had no hot water in the shower. However, upon politely mentioning these points, the owner and the girl on the reception desk got very defensive and rude and shouted at us. Have they never heard of customer service?!
