Nice enough continental breakfast, with very friendly waiting staff.
The pub lacks a bit of atmosphere but this is probably due to the location.
The Hanger Lane station is a bit dodgy and not advisable to use the underpasses late at night, especially if you're alone.
Overall though I would recommend the hotel, as you can get the Central Line staright into central London. Read Less

we used this hotel as a base for a couple of days to get to wembley and the west end ..Only a 15 min bus ride to wembley and a 30 min tube ride into the west end . tube station 5 min walk from hotel ....The Hotel was very clean and we had a pleasant continetal breakfast each day ..There is a nice Pub connected to the hotel which sells a pub food... looked nice food (never tried this tho )...The only problem we had was that at night with the hotel being near very busy roads ,it was a bit disturbing to our sleep .. But all in all had a pleasant stay...... Read Less

This was the second time we stayed here. We?ll probably stay here again the next time we visit London. Friendly personnel, simple but good breakfast, clean spacious room (compared with hotels we stayed at previous visits). The hotel is a little bit farther away from the city centre (about 20-30 min with the tube) we don?t mind because at this hotel you?ll get more for less money than in the centre we think. We spent 4 nights at the Fox and Goose and had a great stay. The hotel is in a separate building at the back of the Fox and Goose pub and is therefore away from the road. Our room was surprisingly large and quiet, clean with a good- sized bathroom. We drank in the bar where the service was excellent, we also ate in the restaurant where the food was very good. There a a few other restaurants around - we tried the Indian next door which was average and also Belvedere's Italian on Hanger Lane junction which was very good. The hotel is a short walk from Hanger Lane tube and the Central Line service into the centre London is fast and frequent. Recommend this hotel. Good value for money. Read Less

There was not a great deal of anything in the imediate area but it was only a short walk to the tube station and central london a 40min journey. Wembly arena was an inexpensive taxi away. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and very close to Hanger Lane Station, literally about 3-4 minutes walk away and about 5-10 minutes in a car to Ealing Common. Would definately recommend!! we found the hotel to be really good value for money, clean, friendly, helpful staff. we paid an extra #3 to have an english beakfast, it was worth every penny,delicious piping hot and loads to eat. Will recommend it to friends and family. The only downside is that it was not as close to wembley arena as stated but about 5 miles away(#10 by taxi). We had a brill time, the tube is a 3 minute walk away and from here we travelled all over london. Read Less

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, it was really good for the price with a continental breakfast included ( which was nice and tasty to start the morning off with.) The staff were ever so helpful and friendly, the hairdryer in our room stoppd workin so a member of staff came over right away and let us use a hairdryer from another room. Alot of underground trains where unavailable at the time we stayed too but the receptionist called up transport enquiries and found another way of getting us to our destination that day. The rooms are nice, big and clean (however the double bed was abit on the small side.)The only real problem with this hotel is the location it is a little bit far from the central of london if you are not keen on travelling late at night on the underground, its also about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station inwhich you have to walk through a couple of subways. But in all it was a very pleasent stay Read Less

We enjoyed our stay very much - the hotel was located very conveniently for central London, and the rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful also. There are two things that could be improved though, the shower was not very warm - out of the 3 showers my wife and I had between us during our stay only 1 was hot the others were quite cold(interestingly my wife had a cold shower and I had a hot one straight afterwards which was odd). Also the breakfast that is included could be a little more continental, as that was what was advertise, although for the price I think it was OK.

The room telephone line is usually locked and a customer has to go down to reception desk to issue some "security deposit" (???) even for local calls, for, as per some male manager-on-duty, the customer is deemed to be settled through an agency and does not have his own account (???), however, if the same customer decides to attach his restaurant bills to the room account -> there is no problem. Then, what is the problem with unlocking phone line without a "security deposit", especially, if a customer is staying for about 10 days???
But in general, the hotel staff is very friendly and service provided is good.
