i am very angry to say that even thou a had a confirmation e-mail, and i had received a phone call from someone connected to the hotel the week b4 my stay to re give my credit card details, when my husband arrived to check in, thery didnt have a room for us. they directed him to another hotel which was 10 mins away. which, considering the only reason i booked the previous hotel was that it was next to the earls court hall, was hardly convenient. also there was no parking, so my husband had to leave our car on a meter and deal with it at 7.30 am in the morning.
it ruined what should have been a very big weekend for me, and i would think twice about booking a hotel in london this way again. i won't even start on how bad the room was that we had to sleep in. liza smith Read Less

I was disappointed with this hotel - the pictures given on the internet were nothing like what the rooms were actually like. The first room I saw had its light hanging dangerously from the ceiling, the second room had dirty blankets and the room we ended up using smelt awful. The bathroom walls had been newly tiled, but the floor felt rotten, and we think that is where the smell was coming from. Everyday our room was tidied - but we stayed five nights and not once were our sheets or towels changed. Our kitchenette came stocked with one knife, one glass, no dishsoap or towel, but thankfully we had two coffee mugs, two forks, four plates and a couple spoons. But again, dishes looked to be rinsed everyday (not washed), but pots and pans used were set aside, as they were, without being cleaned. We survived our stay and had a good laugh about it all, but its not a place I'd recommend. If on a tight budget, you could do worse, I'm sure. The front door to the hotel was never locked, and the hallways extremely noisey. There is no receptionist in the building, but across the street is another Exhibition Hotel, where you do all your checking-in. I RECOMMEND you take a look at the room you want FIRST before actually paying to stay there. Just a thought. One good thing - a two minute walk from Earl's Court Station and even less to Tesco's, a major grocery shop. Bring a room freshner or incense with you to help soften the smell. Read Less

I would not go back as the room was poorly presented. The ensuite was tiny and door broken so wouldn't shut properly. There was no plug in the sink. The bed matress was very lumpy, old and uncomfortable. I didn't expect top quality accommodation but i was expecting a higher standard than that which was offered. The breakfast was simple but nice, so this was a plus. Read Less

We went to the original hotel and that one was doing some sort of maintenance so we had to go to a different hotel which I think was EC 4. This wouldn't have been a problem except we were caring a ton of bags and had already walked to EC 3 then had to turn around and go back to the tube the opposite direction to EC 4. So there was a lot of uneccesary walking with a lot of bags. The english breakfast was very good also. Read Less
