Breakfast was self service but the choice was very poor, the milk was sour and the whole experience was not very nice

I was on crutches, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful throughout our stay, while we were attending a conference at the ExCel Centre just across the street. They allowed us to ship our boxes of pubilcatons to the hotel in advance and then even let us borrow a trolley to haul the boxes over to the meeting.
The room was small and the bathroom, really tiny, but the bed was comfortable. The pub & restaurant adjoining the hotel is a comfortable place, and the food is good and reasonably priced. Read Less |

Very close to DLR, and if there is construction on the line, buses work just fine. The rooms are small but clean. I don't think there is any AC in the rooms. The area looked more or less safe but I wouldn't advise walking alone at night. The value of this place is just about as good as it gets, cheap(for London) and easy access to the airport and central London. Read Less |

We booked a family room, but when we came back in the evening to sleep, our son's bed had no duvet or cover on it. We had to ask 3 times and waited well over half an hour - by now gone 11pm & we were all very tired. Eventually we were given a blanket and duvet - no duvet cover. Also, my husband had phoned ahead to ask re: breakfast & was told he could have cooked or continental. In the morning, they said he could only have cooked if he paid extra for it. We all had 'continental' breakfast - square cut brown or white bread, cereal, yoghurt, fruit. Read Less |
