This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. From the service being very poor to the staff going through the room and our things when my wife and i went out for the evening. We booked alarm call which never came. They offered to up grade our breakfast but got it all wrong. Then after the bad service we had they offered us to stay longer in they so called 5 star hotel which was obviously out of the question because we asked for an alarm call that never came so we where late to pick our children up. THIS WAS MY WIFE'S 30 BIRTHDAY AND IT WAS RUINED BECAUSE OF THE COURTHOUSE KEMPINSKI !!!!!!!!!!!! Read Less

i asked for twin beds and non smoking room. when we arrived, we had to stay in a smoking room with one bed! at 5 a.m. we received a wake up call, which we didn't order and last not least the spa wasn't open at 8 am, as it should have been. for a 5 star hotel very poor performance! Read Less

Very good , well situated . modern and clean with friendly and efficient service.
Only drawback was the very small breakfast room (inadequate for an hotel of this category) and with a very badly designed airconditioning in this breakfast room (straight above our heads, wherever you sat in the room and extremely strong and low temperature.
Certainly my favourite hotel in London. Read Less

Our room was so small , have never stayed in a hotel with such a small bed , which was a pull down bed.
Staff where unhelpfull verging on ignorant, speeking in there own languge in front of guests, dooman talking to another member of staff while guests carried own cases, our driver couldnt understand it . This hotel is definatley not five star, will never stay there again and would never recomend it. Read Less

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself was tasefully decorated, and we liked the fact that many original features remain from its history as a courthouse.
The room was spotless, the bed soooo comfortable and we ddint hear any traffic noise at all.
The hotel wasn't too far away from the theatre district and we actually walked back to the hotel after seeing a show.
We would definately book this hotel again when want to stay in London. Read Less

Never ever book a songle room at this hotel. The room I was given was very basic and didn't even have a desk. It would also have benefited from a good clean!
On previous visits I'd have said the Courthouse did one of the best club sandwiches in London. The one served up during this stay was more like you'd expect from a roadside cafe.
A big disapointment and drop in usual standards. Read Less

We booked 2 standard double rooms and when we arrived they had upgraded us to superior complimentary. the rooms were amazing and really big, dressing gowns slippers and umbrella etc all included, the view however was very poor (a brick wall) but worth it anyway, you just melt in the beds they are so so comfortable and huge.
The staff were more then helpful and bent over backwards to make our stay pleasurable and even allowed us a late check out so we could use the pool.
The pool and sauna room WOW just about sums it up.
we didnt try the bar but the English Buffet breakfast was beautiful.
I have stayed in many hotels in london and this was definatly the best ive stayed in by far.

Very polite, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean bedroom and public areas and quality furniture used. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Small bedroom with poor view into office block. No mobile phone network in bedroom. No tea/coffee facilities in bedroom or trouser-press. Cooked English breakfast was tasty but only just warm. Perfect position of hotel for London Palladium, Regent St and Oxford St. Very interesting history of hotel building. I understood it was 5 star but, in my opinion, should just about make 4 star. I would stay there again - reasonable price for the location and comfort. Read Less

My husband and I loved our stay at the Courthouse Kempinksi the location couldn't be better. We arrived early and there was no problem checking in before the listed time and felt immediatley welcome. The 'cells' in the bar are truly bizarre but thouroughly likeable and the cocktails are divine but at #10 per drink I would expect them to be. After one of the best nights sleep I've ever had (I'm not kidding, the beds are to die for and they actually sell them!) we went for breakfast which was absolutely georgous and with a 12:00pm check out time we had plenty of time to recover from the night before. Overall I would recommed this hotel not because of the 5 stars as I've stayed in similar 4 stars but because of its location and history and most of all the beds. Read Less
