The location is excellent as only 15 minutes walk from Covent Garden etc. Hotel room was beautiful and although we had a slight problem with the key card, our concern was dealt with efficently and in a very friendly manner. My only criticism was breakfast, although the food was good the service here was quite poor, but don't let that put you off as I would certainly return. Read Less

This hotel is great! The location between two tube stations and the number of bus routes in the direct area makes it a great place to stay!Nearby the British museum and some fine parks give you some time to relax in this exciting city!
The rooms are of a good size and are clean and facilities are great too!You can make you're own cup of tea or coffee and there is a flat screen television and the rooms all have air condition. There is a iron and iron board and a small safe.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is great!Breakfast is wonderful!Full English if you wish or continental the choice is yours! There is bread, rolls pastries ,fruit and you can eat what you want as much as you want.
Look no further but stay in this hotel we've done it for the 12th time now and the only negative thing we came across were the water bottles we normally got every day weren't given anymore.
In our next trip to London we will definitely stay in the Park Inn Russell Square(form. The Bonnington)hotel! Read Less

Same helpful & friendly staff as when this was called The Bonnington, but sadly some things have changed. Only executive rooms merit a 40 pence bottle of water and sheets and towels rough and starched not like the fluffy white towels and fine cotton I used to look forward to. Maintenance has deteroriated too - hole where bathroom door hook should be and shower leaked all over floor as no sealing strip on bath screen. Read Less

The Bonnington is now called Park Inn. When I booked it was called The Bonnington but when I arrived it had changed and I had not been notified.
I had some problems with the unprofessional manner of the reception staff. My safety deposit box didn't work and I had to chase them to look after it for me. The room was small but had a very nice bathroom. The dining room where I had breakfast was very crowded and I had to queue for a while to get my food. When I arrived the fruit was finished. Overall the hotel needs to do alot of refurbishing of the common areas and staff to live up to their 4 stars. Location is excellent, beside Russell Square and 10 mins walk to Covent Garden. Read Less

This hotel is very well located for the City, theatreland, shops etc. We found everything we wanted to see within walking distance. We were in London for Lord mayors show & Rememberance day. Whitehall & St Pauls onl;y 30 mins walk. Dont get the tube walk instead. As for hotel, very nice comfortable & clean in newly refurbed rooms. If your room is at the front take earplugs! Its very noisy on Southampton Row or insist on a quiter room. The breakfast is very good, although on one of the mornings the food was cold & served on cold plates. Rooms small but very bright, clean, fresh and have all the extras.
