First impression wasn't good as they couldn't find our booking and we had to wait about 20 minutes while the reception staff sorted it out. On checking out they were going to charge us again although we'd already paid in advance. On the plus side the room was small and too hot but clean and comfortable. Best feature of the hotel is it's location, just around the corner from Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Covent Garden and Chinatown so it's ideal for getting around although along with the excellent location comes the constant noise! Not a 4 star hotel as advertised, unfriendly reception. Booked and confirmed twin bedded room - allocated double room - not helpful even though we had confirmation. I was told I was lucky to get a twin room as their confirmation was a double. Room so small you couldn't open the fridge. Beds very uncomfortable mattresses old and lumpy. Carpet soiled and many holes.Would not use this hotel again. very disappointing. Read Less

I would like to comment about this trip: Once we got there, the hotel lost our reservation. It took one hour before they could figure out what to do with the situation. We have booked four double rooms but they had only two, so two people had to ship off to another hotel, the other two were put in a single room with no window. Another thing, the hotel have many good facilities but none of them work. Our room had no remote control so we stuck with summer temperature in our room. The internet didnt work. And the room was not so clean. In order to be fair, there are good things I would like to mention here, the manager of the hotel is very nice and professional. He gave us the discount for the room and we all got breakfast for free. This is a nice gesture of the manager which had made up for all the minus things from these. Read Less

I had a poor night's sleep due to noise from outside, but it should be expected in Central London on a Saturday night. The room itself was nice but i felt minor things let it down such as attention to detail. They'd obviously spent a lot of time and money making the hotel look modern, but ceilings had artex on and were cracked and looked old. Also, a few walls had been filled but not repainted. Read Less

We booked this hotel for its location as we were going to the theatre on Friday night and know from experience how difficult it is to find a taxi after an evening performance!
The hotel was very good. The downsides were 1. only one slow lift which meant you had long waits to get up to your room; and 2. I would have liked to see more selection of fresh fruit and breads at the breakfast as is provided by most large hotel chains. Otherwise, great and would definitely return again. Read Less
