Room was fine but very small - not enough room to open the bathroom door fully. Bathroom was very clean but had a 'peculiar' smell. Bed was very comfortable. Stick to the continental breakfast - the English fry is not worth the extra money. Great location. Lovely quiet night's sleep, awoken only be birdsong, which was rather nice. Read Less

The entire hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk personnel assisted us in directions to specific locations as well as arranging for taxi service when needed. They were extremely attentive and helpful in securing theatre tickets and printing out bus schedules for us.
The breakfast was delicious and convenient, with great service.
The 24 hour cocktail lounge and food menu was terrific when returning in the late evening after touring all day. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
The rooms are small but nice. The one criticism may be the squeaky floors.

If you only need a room to sleep and are not looking for more than this hotel is OK. So for us, 3 people visiting London for 3 day's, this hotel was sufficient. However, the floor of the bathroom was not clean, in the middle of the night suddenly the central heating was making an enormous sound and kept us (and probably the rest of the hotel) awake. Also the desk reception staff was not giving the proper advise to us that we could park the car in front of the hotel during 10.00pm and 08.30 am. Instead they told us to park the car 10 minutes walk away through the very cold December night in the Marriot Parking garage which costs us another 22 UK pounds for evey night.
Instead we could have parked right in front of the hotel, we found out later ourselves.
I don't think we will stay here again. Read Less

Although it was a comfortable double room with tea/coffee facilities, TV, trouser press, shower, etc. etc. the size of the room itself was very small with just enough room to walk around the bed. On departure another couple were also complaining about the size of their twin room when they had to climb over one bed to get to the other. Not very satisfactory really. Other than that a nice bar area and restaurant and friendly staff. Read Less

Very small room, had to hold breath to walk around the bed which took up practically all of the room. The extremely squeeky floorboards of our room and in the hall outside were very annoying (although i appreciate it is an old building) and kept me awake at night.
