My little room was in the basement, which was a network of tiny corridors... luckily my objective was not to stay much at the hotel, so this accommodation suited me well for this time. I had requested for a quiet non-smoking room with a bath, but got a noisy (noise coming both from the street and the corridor and next door neighbours) room (smoking allowed) with a shower. And the shower was so little that it would have been an issue for an average size person. I'm petite, so it was fine with me.
The reception personnel was very polite and friendly, and ever so helpful! Read Less

Great hotel ideal for my annual shopping trip to London. Hotel only two minutes walk from Bayswater tube station (very handy!). Twin-bedded room was on fifth floor, which was no problem, only that the lift is the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel (just managed to squeeze two adults plus two small weekend cases into it!). Room very clean, facing onto back of hotel, not much traffic noise. Breakfast is the usual continental affair with cereal, yoghurt, fruit etc. Full-english breakfast #5 supplement and as it is owned by a Malaysian company, a Malaysian breakfast is also an option. Compliamentary tea/coffee is also served in the lounge area in the afternoon. Overall, a very clean and comfortable hotel, which I will consider using again.

We requested for King/Queen size and smoking room during reservation and non of our request were fulfill. We manage to change to a room with Queen size bed the next day but lost our bathtub to only a shower. Shower area is so small 2' x 2' that you can't even bend to soap yourself. TV in room was place on the side of the bed, how are we suppose to watch?? Other than the bad experience with the room, the location is really great, just behind high street bayswater. Comparing to hotels in asia, hotels in london are way over price for the pathetic facilities offered!! Read Less

Don't go to this hotel even if it is offered free.I was there in April 07.I was in single room which was so small and stuffy that I got dehydrated after overnight stay. The shower cubical is 2ft x2ft for which this hotel should be in Guiness Book of records .On the top of everything is rude and mannerless desk staff and most of them are arabic speaking. Read Less

The room was tiny, the bed was tiny, the bathroom was tiny. Even at low price it did not represent value for money. I could not have been prepared for such an experience - including a snoring man in the room next door and windows that barely closed let alone felt secure. A total disappointment! Read Less

I didn't realize when I booked the room that there would be a lot of noise at night. It was very very noisy at night. The staff was wonderful but didn't know much about London attractions, events, etc. No air conditioning either which made it hard at sleeping since we had to keep the window shut to help keep out the noise. I would never stay there again. Read Less
