The room I stayed in was tiny as was the ensuite (you couldnt get to the sink without completely closing the door first!) There was a constant musty smell, and it was far too warm even with the windows open. The windows opened out above the garden area which when combined with the sound of the nearby roads, was very noisy.
As for the food...dont even get me started on that! Something as simple as a chicken and bacon salad became brown lettuce with dry reheated "chicken" and bacon you could clearly see was left over from breakfast! (no exaggeration here!)
It was just awful! Read Less

Only dired powder milk in the rooms.
Poor response form staff when fire alarm went off at 6.30am and hotel had to be evacuated. The hotel staff stood around as a group within the recedption area chatting amongst themselves and not providing any drection to residents many of who were allowed to sit in reception area. No member of staff came outside the hotel, there was no checking as to which residents were present. As it happens this was a false alarm but had there been a fire I would have seruious concerns about staff attitudes and actioins in terms of safety.

Nice quiet room with good views (5th floor at the back) which is good for London in my experience. Also, it was one of those rare occasions when the TV actually had good reception! The room wasn't vacuumed (some crumbs and an item of female underwear found under a chair!), but it was otherwise fine, with lashings of hot water. Reasonable space too, with good storage facilities. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was fine too, though choice was very limited for vegetarians wishing to have a cooked breakfast. There were plenty of other things on offer though. I'd stay again, as reasonably priced quiet rooms with views in London are very hard to come by. Read Less

It is worth staying at this hotel if you have a late night out and want somewhere average to sleep.
The room did smell a bit musty and you do wonder a bit when they hand you your room key on a long metal rod, but for a last minute room its ok.
Plus the breakfast option in the morning is good and the staff are quite professional. Read Less
