The service in the hotel was excellent though, always happy to help. room very small, the washbasin not confortable at all when u have to wash your face and hands, a bit of dust in the room, the lift next to our room didn't work and thank god we were in the first floor because it did not work either the second one the day we left. The waiters at the restaurant were not friendly at all, very serious, the buffet very limited,the wardrobe was super small...we would not go back for the price we paid...it was not at all a good choice, even though the hotel is being refurbished, not well designed at all.
The only good thing were the area and the tv in the room(very big one).

The hotel was undergoing some major building works (which were not disclosed at time of booking) but this caused minimal disruption. The lift was out of order and I was on the 5th floor (and am not a regular cisitor to the gym). Free wi-fi was very good as was the powerful shower and excellent breakfast. A nice touch was when I checked out I was asked if I would like the hotel to look after my case whilst I was out on business.

It is currently undergoing a refurb - which the bathrooms need, as they are like an all in one cupboard/wet room! (but not of the new trendy type)
On the plus side the double glazing was great for keeping the noise of the traffic out and the location near to Euston was perfect for me. There were lots of towels as well and the room was an above average size. << click here to read less |
