Hotel walking distance to underground, Kensington and Hyde Parks. Lovely warm swimming pool - only disappointment was breakfast 80% 13-Sep-2008

Bayswater is a lovely area, fast access to a local tube to get about. Plenty of places to eat and a mini high street. The hotel room was clean and tidy, it looked like there was a wine stain on the quilt but everything else was fine. The room was quite small being an end corner room and the cooked breakfest was well, luke warm is the best way to describe it. The breakfest did have a good selection but i think were more likely to stay in covent garden next time.

This hotel was great, it has a wonderful swiming pool and sauna that guests can use, and one of the best and most varied breakfasts I've ever had in a hotel! I would definitely stay here again. 96% 07-Oct-2007

The room was small, the carpet and bedcovers stained, the bathroom/toilet door incapable of being secured, the window draughty, and the staff found everything to be "Impossible". We were also asked for a £25 deposit for use of the Mini-bar, only to find that there was NO Mini-bar in the room. When we reported this, and asked for our deposit to be refunded, we were again told this was "Impossible", and that the deposit was for the 'phone! We have stayed all over the world, but this was the worst - by a long way - we have ever experienced. How this "place" can have 4-stars is completely beyond our comprehension!

the rooms are small but clean and adequate-they have a tv. comfy beds, tea/coffee making facilities, powershower... the breakfast is pretty decent too. Buffet style-the usual cereals and juices and tea+coffee and also a selection of breads/pastries/toast, the full english is £3 extra but you can get most of it (sausages, beans, eggs etc) as part of the normal breakfast. the reception staff are extremely helpful and speak several languages the hotel is in a pretty good area with Hyde park literally 2minutes away, underground stations of bayswater and queensway 10 mins away and a selection of restaurants, shops, and a shopping centre 5/10 mins away (all walking distances). you can also get several buses from just around the corner and can catch the hop on/off bus there too.
