| The service, quality of food and location make this my favourite place to stay. The refurbishments make it even better! |

The Strand Palance hotel was perfect for a weekend stay in London. The location was ideal for shoping, theatre and sight seeing. The staff were very polite and the breakfast had lots of choice, from full English to ultra healthy with fresh fruit on offer. We will definitely be staying there again. More >> |

It is a fantastic hotel. People in Reception are brilliant and helpful. When I go for my breakfast the people there are brilliant and because I stay at the Strand Palace Hotel nearly every month I have got to know them and of course they know me too so it is brilliant. More >> |

I have returned again and again to this hotel either on my own or with a friend. Single rooms are always availbable and the standard of comfort and cleanliness is very good. Staff are approachable and helpful. The cost of accommodation is affordable for London and the West End location, close to Westminster, is ideal for concert halls, theatres, opera houses, National Gallery and British Museum. More >> |

| We arrived early and were able to check in straight away, which was excellent. The location is great literally at the rear of Covent Garden. This hotel is very large, but runs like clock work. Would recomend this to others. |

Beds to large for the bedding. Food prices eyewatering, beware the 12.5% service charge (they don't tell you it is optinal)
The lobby is nice, but the rooms are dull and well worn. Breakfast can be a scrum as this is a very busy hotel.
In short would not use again or recommend. More >> |

We stayed at the Strand Palace between 19th and 21st November 08 and felt it was good value at £130 a night, given the great location and full English breakfast. It was busy at breakfast but didn't wait too long to be seated and food was great. We could hear some traffic noise from our front-facing room, but it wasn't intrusive on 7th floor. Room was clean if not a little worn, with plenty of space. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location is brilliant with Covent Garden 10 mins walk away. It surprised us that all the pubs in the area closed at 11pm on week nights - we missed last orders in the local one night and chanced the hotel bar. Beware the prices (£9 for 2 bottles of Becks - we expected it to be expensive but blimey!). Try the Roundhouse pub in nearby Garrick St- cheaper and nice friendly atmosphere. Would recommend Porters few mins walk away in Henrietta St for good quality English food. All in all, very happy with our stay and would use the hotel again. More >> |
