Have just returned from a one night stay in the Phoenix; my daughter and I were lucky enough to be given a very big room which made our stay even more enjoyable. Have stayed in a few hotels, in London, in this price range and this is definitely the best. Rooms were very clean and plenty of tea & coffee available in the room. Will definitely be staying here again. More >> |

It was a pleasure staying at the Phoenix again. Staff members appeared always friendly and service minded, our double room was just adequately spacious but fully acceptable, the bath room was small but well functioning. Continental breakfast buffet included was very good.
Location of Phoenix Hotel couldn´t be better compared to our (tourist) demands, it most likely will be our choice of quartering at future visits to fabulous City of London. We came back, we will be back! More >> |

Sehr sauberes, preisgerechtes Hotel. Kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm-WLAN kostenlos! More >> |

| Room very small. Tv had to be turned on manually and remote was temperamental. In general, hotel was overheated and uncomfortable. But we had an enjoyable holiday besides. |

This hotel is great, especially at the price I paid. I often stay here if I can get a cheap room and am always impressed. They don't do evening meals, which is a bit of a shame, but the shopping centre 2 mins away has lots of restaurants. More >> |

I was booked on Best Western Phoenix Hotel, but on arrival, it showed up that the hotel was overbooked. We were sent to another hotel, John Howard and that was ok, though it was a bit longer to the nearest tube station.Apart from that, the stay was satisfying, and particularly the personell in the restaurant at the hotel, were kind and serviceminded. Me and my mate stayed here when we was in London on a girls wkend. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. The rooms are fairly small but have nice big windows and the bathroom is very good feature, modern and spacious. Hotel staff was friendly and chatty to us. The hotel is 5 mins up the road from Queensway tube on a really nice quite road. Tube into the west end was no problem at all. I wouldn’t say this hotel is recommended for couples and anyone who’s looking for a romantic wkend should pay extra and opt for one of the quality hotels in London. For tourist, friends and families I definitely recommend this hotel. In the evening we got a TAXI from the hotel to Leicester square which cost £18 set price booked by the hotel, on the way back at 5am we got a taxi back from Leicester sq and it cost us £12.80 by meter, not bad when sharing a cab, book independent not through hotel though! | The hotel is in a great location, 3 mins to the nearest tube station and 5 mins walk to Hyde Park. Great restaurants close by and is an ideal location for a short stay in London as attractions are so accessible from this area. |

This was a great value hotel in an excellent location--easy to get into Central London via the tube or bus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I went on a London Walk for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. By a Travel Card as soon as possible as single fares are expensive More >> |
