Considering there were quite a few people staying the turn around was lost with not enough staff..... the breakfast tables were still full of dirty crockery & not moved fast enough. Had to wait 15 mins to be served (which was not a problem) & then our cooked breakfast was minus the sausage as they had run out!!!! but was not offered any extra .... i.e. egg/bacon slice ! While eating our breakfast one of the girls wiped the table next to us clean & then wiped a knife clean with the same cloth & put it into place for the next meal !!!!! Not sure i would recommend this place to anyone

The hotel was very basic. There was a bar area where you could sit and have a beer, and you would also get free tea or coffe (since there was no tea/coffe in the rooms). There was no internet access. The rrom was very small, but clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was standard. Warm water in the showeres! Closet space extremely small, impossible to fit even for one persons clothes. Friendly 24-hour reception. Calm, yet central neighbourhood. All in all, very satisfied!

Very small room in hotel, seemed clean though. Very thin walls which were a problem as we were complained about when listening to the tv. Old fashioned room without double glazed windows. Staff were friendly enough, breakfast was early (7.30 - 9.00) so never had a chance to test it. Location was right next to Paddington Underground and bus stop which was a major bonus, most buses/trains ran to it, being right next to Hyde Park was lovely also. Overall, if you are not planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel it is ideal, otherwise pay a little extra.
