The service was very poor. There was no kettle or cups/saucers in the room, TV was not working, the mattresses was cheap (gave me a back ache), bed was not made (the sheet was just left on the bed).... goes on and on. However, the room was clean as it is recently renovated. There is no lift (our room was on the 3rd floor). The staffs were rude and discourteous. Will never go back to this hotel again.

Broken shower in first room. Uncleaned toilet, in second room. Had to move rooms 3 times and avoid renovation work. The staff were friendly though. 44% 18-Apr-2005

Newly remodeled singles. In fact they were remodeling right outside my door every morning at 8am. Room was better than expected. They only turn heat on at night, but you shouldn't be wasting daylight sleeping anway. Excellent location! Just a sneeze away from both Bayswater and Paddington Stations. Take an alarm clock because the wakeup calls don't work.

Our room was good. I had a look into another room and it ought to be repaired! I don?t know about the other rooms. Some of the persons in the staff were very service-minded, some were not. 76% 24-Nov-2004

continental breakfast was actually tea and toast!! 64% 20-Nov-2004

Hotel run by East Europe people. The worst hotel I have ever been. They didn't know at all what cleanliness is. The walls were dirty and they didn't know neither how to make a bed in the morning. The wc was dirty. Couldn't make a proper poo for the whole stay. There was dust everywhere and you could feel it in your mounth. The curtains where all covered by dust and when you opened the window the dust fell everywhere especially on the bed. The moquette was sooo dirty that if something had fallen on it, we had to throw it away. There was no heating, the window in the room didn't close well. They couldn't even provide an extra pillow or an extra cover. ABSOLUTELY DON'T CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!!! IT SUCKS LIKE NOTHING IN THE WORLD!!!

A scruffy room and a truly appalling breakfast : 2 slices of toast, orange juice in a polystyrene cup and a cup of grey tea. 36% 08-Nov-2004

The room we had was really run down, filthy walls and generally dirty, if it wasn't so cheap and central and only one night I would have left straight away. One nice room my friends had which was newly done up but they asked for double bed and got two singles.

The bed wasn't made during our stay, wich was a week. If coffee and tea making facilities are offered, wich they were, you shouldn't be forced to ask for refill of tea bags and coffee sachets. Hairdrier was also offered; there was one for the whole hotel...
