Despite the grandeur of the hotel the rooms were only average and the corridors smelled musty. Room not available at the 3pm check-in time. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and a coffee in the bar cost £4.50 + three biscuits cost £5 - all plus 12.5% service!
The Great Room was fabulous and the function food delicious, service good. Wine prices ridiculously high though and bottled water £4.50 for a small bottle.
Basically, you need to have more money than sense to stay here. More >> |
