Staff at the reception = not "friendly" at all Dishes in the room = dirty The Swipe card of the room hadn't been checked before our arrival = it did not work many times and we were everytime required to go downstairs to ask for another one... Good breakfast

My two first nights I was "moved" in another hotel because Brunel hotel had some problesms. It was a good decision if I could have breakfast as I had reserved. So firts day I did not have breakfast at the hotel and I obliged to pay for de one I had next day. Returning to Brunel hotel for my last night in London, my double room (108) was even smal for one person! But everyone was gentle and we felt good.

The lift was out of order and we were expected to carry heavy cases up 4 flights of stairs. With some encouragement the clerk on duty carried one case upstairs but was not willing to make two trips and we were eventually rescued by another guest of the hotel who carried up the other large case. The challenge of climbing the stairs every time we left the hotel was unexpected and unkind.
