working in the hotel trade myself i feel that i can in deed give this hotel a fare review A/ the hotel its self from the outside looks a mess and when you turn up you have this heart sinking feeling B/ the room we had was at best a medium size single not big enough for two people C/ the breakfast can only be described as complete rubbish ....a real dissapointment D/ one night was more than enough to stay in this hotel that has a bit to do to get out of the doledrums

Friendly, clean, well located hotel. Excellent value for money, although the room was a little bit smoky - Make sure you ask for a non smoking room if you don't want the smell of smoke. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the location is excellent just 50 yeards from Oxford Street's shops. Great for a weekend break.

We were very disappointed to find that the room they sent us to (having arrived some 3 hours after the room ought to have been available to us) and we found the room uncleaned, dirty cups, dirty linen (just turned back from when the previous occupier had got out of bed) - not something we relished walking into I can assure you. We were moved to an alternative room which was much smaller. The service at breakfast was poor, considering it was only coffee/tea that needed to be served. This was not offered to us. I went and got some from the coffee machine and walked across the breakfast room with two cups in my hand, not very health and safety conscious. We would not stay there again.
