The younger members of staff on the reception desk are friendly and extremely helpful. I've stayed at this hotel three times this year and always felt very welcomed on arrival and departure. However, on this occassion there was a middle aged lady behind the reception desk and lets just say that she could do with some customer care training. Maybe she was having a bad day but to say that she was rude and her attitude left a lot to be desired is something of a understatement. That said, this was more than made up for by the two lovely youngster who checked me in. My thanks to - them - shame about the other person!

i liked the hotel, thoug i thought the rooms were i bit small the ones i got but i know there are bigger! and the kitchenfisility was fantastick. bathroom and shower was great!!! i will definetly go there again if im in this area. tota, iceland

I truly enjoyed my stay at Base2Stay. The room was exactly what I expected and the washroom even better. Thanks to the small kitchenette I was able to enjoy breakfast in the room with food purchased at the nearby Marks & Spencers. My room was ready when I got there (3 hours before normal check-in) and when I discovered that the in-room safe wasn't working, someone was there within 10 minutes to fix it. Truly great service. When I return to London, I will definately stay there. Added bonus... Earls Court Station has elevators and ramps so I didn't have to wrestle with my luggage up any stairs. Earls Court Station is also on the Picadilly Line making it extra easy to get to and from the airport.

Very good value for money and lots to see and do within reasonable walking distance. The room facilities are excellent ( perhaps another bin in the bedroom). The staff were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful.I hope the standards can be maintained as I will certainly use the hotel again. The Base2Stay is definitely the place to stay.

the room was terrible. When I wanted to cancel the reservation because of the misleading information on yur web site I had to pay one night stay! I would strongly advise you to change the information to prevent that more people would be disapponted. Regards, Lilly Zeligman

I was very pleased with Base@Stay in London, South Kensington. However,the message light on my phone did not work and no attempt was made to replace the phone with one in working order. The electronic key did not always work in the door, and Ii had to go down to the desk.

This hotel lived up to the other great reviews i had read. The staff were particularly friendly, helpful and efficient and the rooms well equipped. The location was perfect. I would definitely recommend to anyone requiring a place to stay without the commitment to having meals at set times during the day. We "self catered" and there were more than adequate facilities nearby to buy food or eat out.

Thinking of what I´ve heard and read about hotels in London, I dare say it´s a great option. Exceptionally clean, new and well decorated. Bathrooms are perfect too and the little kitchenette is very helpfull. We missed breakfast service, but there are plenty of places along Earl´s Court & Old Bromtom streets to choose.
