We had a pleasant stay, and would probably stay in the hotel again. Nevertheless the hotel needs to start renovating soon. Some spots start getting shabby, and unless something is done about it now the hotel has to face a big overhaul. The location is very convenient, and there were no disturbances from traffic etc. And compared to other hotels in London the bathroom was gigantic.

we valued free internet access, iron in room and a sheet as well as quilt on bed. The area of service that let the hotel down was in the cafe where at times there was not enough crockery for the flow of people and the staff were not well organised although hard working.

The rooms were clean but need a face lift. The single room we booked was very small. Ideal for the tube and lots of lovely restaurants and bars just a very short walk away. Interner access in lobby very good. If sky was offered in rooms that would be great. Staff very friendly. Continental breakfast good. Would go back again.

Quiet, spacious rooms - a rarity in London! Friendly, helpful staff. Only criticisms are (1) dim lighting in rooms (could be rectified by hanging ceiling lights and larger table lamps) and (2) shop-worn carpeting that really should be replaced. Excellent quality for the price!
