With the prices in London going up..up...UP, it was pleasant to find an affordable hotel. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. (FYI, Earl's Court is one of the few London stations that has handicap access, with elevators to the platforms.) The hotel itself also has an elevator which was a godsend when dealing with bulky luggage. The twin bedded rooms were very small, but adequate and always very clean. The staff was helpful, cheerful and polite. My husband and I were very well satisfied. << click here to read less |

Suprisingly nice road of houses/hotels with excellent tube links and local ammenities. Good, basic, clean accomodation though not sure would have paid the advertised rates at reception which were double what we did pay! Porter slightly strange and didn't give confidence that knew what he was doing though was fine. Could leave bags there after check out which was great. Breakfast was very basic and crampt but fine. We booked this hotel for convenience as it was thought to be close to the Earls Court Exhibition Centre as well as a tube station. We couldn't have been better informed, it was a 2 minute walk from the tube and even less than that to the exhibition centre. The hotel was also a moments walk from the bustling streets catering for almost any taste in food, a number of pubs and a variety of shops. I was a little apprehensive about the standard of the hotel based on the price we paid and so it was a pleasant surprise to find the hotel was clean, well presented and the staff were very helpful. Despite our room overlooking the tube station I did not find this a disruption at all. The breakfast facilities were good as well. We shall be booking again here for our next stay in London. Nice staff. Great location, Very close to underground station with central lines.
Many restaurants and grocery shops near by. (Very nice restaurant-cafe on the Earls Court road: "Mor-ish". Good food and cakes, nice atmosphere.)
The bad points:
The room is very small and simple. The back side of the hotel faces the underground station and is noisy. (But the good point: we asked to change to the front side room, and the staff was very happy to help. The room was changed as soon as it was possible.)

The management was eager to please and also let us use a fan. A small hotel and average breakfast, but the location was close to the TUBE. We found that the hotel was very clean and well kept. Its location is within a block or two of the tube station and Bus stops. It is also located in a quiet residential area on a tree-lined street. We never felt intimidated, or in danger, while walking around this area.
The staff we dealt with, were very helpful and polite and were able to deal with any questions or concerns we had. The two people working in the eating area were quiet and kept to themselves, mostly because their knowledge of English was limited. However, here again, the area is very clean and bright.
The Breakfast is a continental type and was sufficient to get us started for the day, but the window of time to have breakfast is very small (7:30 to 9:00am) and if you miss this, you don?t eat. No time for sleeping in.
For our other meals, the area offered a wide variety of restaurants and pubs, all within walking distance.
The only real criticism we have is that the room we were given was extremely small, with no room for two people to pass each other. Also, we only received two bath-sized towels. We found only one towel per person to be inadequate. We always receive in other hotels a washcloth, a hand towel, a bath towel and a bath mat.
In finalization, we found the hotel a clean and inexpensive place for us to stay in while site seeing in the London area. << click here to read less |

Our only critiscism was that -- in common with many B;Bs -- neither face cloths nor drawer space for clothing were provided. I requested a quiet room and got the room at the top of the building 4th floor facing the road, not really enough room for 2 people but a nice wee room for 1 However it was quiet :~) The british weather decided to have its 2 days of sun and it was sooo hot in the room and we boiled, but it was so quiet I managed to sleep with the window open full.
There is a lift- thank goodness. The room was clean and clean towels every day. Breakfast is good and the staff were really helpful.

We consequently had to walk to another hotel for the first night and then had to relocate back to the original on the second night.
