Some complaints:
-Pool area taken over by Italians kids playing the "hee-hee-I'll-push-you-to-water" game and yelling all day
-water temperature and pressure in shower changing all the time: cold-hot-cold-hot.. .super annoying!
-nickel and diming in services, e.g., 3 euros to use a valuables locker
-rooms really worn out

This hotel was average in my opinion. The rooms were clean enough and the air con was good and needed in the 36 degree heat and not much lower at night. However there were some very bad bits. The shower worked every now and then, when it did it was pumping salt water out. The pool was small with limited shallow end and again was very very salty. The reception staff in playa sol 1 was good, but at playa sol 2 they were very unhelpful and could not even be bothered to order us a cab to get to the airport. The doors to the room did not look to secure although they do provide safety boxes at reception which is a must for passports etc. Read Less

I should have complained but was not there enough
I wish I had booked in time to book the sol II which had a sea room.

they charged us 200 euros for checking in 5 hours early, but did not tell us untill we were leaving. someone broke in while we were in the room. and as soon as you asked the staff something all of a sudden they could"nt speak english. we heard them charge 80 euros to someone else to stay a few more hours. it was a thoroughly unpleasant place with all the sockets in our room not working and the live wires hanging out of the walls. i would not recomend this dump under any cicumstances.
