This hostel is excellent value for money with very pleasant staff - as long as you stay in at least one of the superior rooms. On the last day, we had to move to a standard room and were amazed to find it nowhere near the standard of teh superior rooms. The standard room was dirty and ill-kept and very uncomfortable. That said, the superior room that we stayed in all week was very clean and comfortable and I would highly reccommend it. Read Less

i arrived at the hotel in the early hours, as my friend was due in later that day i was given a box single room until she arrived then i was require dto move to our allocated twin room. The twin room was clean and basic a kettle and mini fridge would have been ideal but not available. We did have fresh towels and a balcony with table and chairs which was a bonus as was the very efficient air conditioning at no extra cost!
there are safe deposit boxes if required and a very reasonably priced basic restaurant which provided good qualityfayre. A bonus being that you could buy frozen botttles of water to keep you going on the beach all day.
it is close to the 'chavvy' west end if thats your thing or the pleasnt walk along the sea which leads to Savannah and Cafe del mar although these are more up market the food available is basic and although twice the price only of the same standard as the hotel.
Tavel from the hotel base is easily accessed at the bus station to many local beaches but bear in mind the beach closest to the hotel is rocky and small.
so get the short buses to the other beaches for the day or the boat trips.
the hotel staff were friendly and fro a small extra cost we were able to keep our room unitl later in the day as we had a late flight.
so yes i would go back here as it was good value for what we found. Read Less

Our room was rightbside the swimming pool so was quite noisy especially as we went clubbing everynight and wanted to sleep in afternoon.
Great location about 3 mins walk to the main westend

The hotel was fine. It was just a pity the 200 or so Queens Park rangers fans did thier level best to spoil things.
