This was a repeat visit to this hotel where I stayed 2 years ago. It was ok then but there was no sign of any improvements in that time, in fact some things had got worse. On the positive side the pool is one of the best I have seen in a hotel, but it closes at 8 pm.
During our 8 night stay the lift was broken for 4 days. Breakfast were very poor. The restaurant had been very good 2 years ago but now the 1 meal we had was straight from the freezer and the wine we ordered was not avialable!. Corridor carpets and handrails on the stairs were both very grubby. Our "triple" room was simply a double with an extra bed therefore very limited floor space left. The rooms have no fridge or minibar and with temperatures in the high 30's a cool drink is essential. The bar closed at 10.30, so unusual for Spain and there is not another within 2 km. Compared to other places we stayed this does not deserve 3 stars for quality. The hotel seems to cater mainly for coach parties. I will not be going back. More >> |
