Basic but clean. Very good location with most of the places of ineterst within easy walking distance. Breakfast disappointing - continental only with little choice. Staff generally friendly although we did have some problems with the electrics in the room that were not attended to as quickly as they should have. All in all though, good value for money. More >> |

Hotel was more like a hostel. Very noisy with the cleaners in the morning, toilet flushing from elsewhere and people leaving dragging their suitcases down the stairs. The Television in the room didn't work as there was no power coming from the socket and we were refused breakfast when there was still time left according to the advertised schedule. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The hotel is very central and easy to find and the staff were helpful. There were school children staying and when we complained of the noise they tackled it straight away and the noise stopped immediately. The rooms though basic were clean and comfortable so we were very happy to stay. The breakfast was very good and there was a large selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you were looking for a weekend break and went out everyday. More >> |

| hotel was a bit old but clean. very spacious room. there was a continous bad smell in the bathroom. location was great and staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent english. buffet breakfast at a nearby hotel was great. |

Don't worry about earlier reviews which criticized the breakfasts. When we visited (April 07), breakfast was provided at the Hotel Carmen (4 star) just a few metres away, and was truly excellent.
Bathroom was rather cramped, but then it is a 2 star hotel.

Room was clean but scruffy, with peeling paint and very dated furniture. Claims that the hotel was refurbished in 2002 are difficult to believe although bathroom was quite modern, suggesting that it had been replaced. Some of the other rooms appeared to be much better than ours. More >> |
