just returned from a 3 night break. We were upgraded to an executive bungalow, which was fabulous; had lovely view of the pool and sea. The complex was lovely, very well laid out with lots of trees and plants. on the last night we ate at the restaurant overlooking the bay which we found to be quite reasonable, and the food and service was above average. we ill definately be returning to barcelo club el castillow would thoroughly recomend this accommodation to friends.

excellant hotel in great location right by the beach, plenty of activities laid on during the day by the entertainment staff for kids and adults if your not one for lounging in the sun all day.Hotel situated not far from the airport but there was little noise to be concerned about. The location was ideal for exploring the island by car as you are more or less in the middle. Nothing bad to say about the place at all really, the only thing that could have been better was that they could have done with another Bar being open in the evening as you sometimes had a bit of a wait.

We were pleasantly suprised by Barcelo Club El Castillo. It was clean and although some buildings works were going on, it was professionally isolated and did not affect our stay at all. We had a sea facing bungalow which was idea for us. It had a sun terrace and was quiet. We visited early July 2008 and therefore not peak Brit season, so the resort was quiet and mainly consisted of Germans, Spanish and Italians - who are all very good holiday makers to have around you. We set our sights low for the all inclusive food - we shouldnt have, it was very good and well worth the money. The Spa is worth a visit and reasonably priced. Phew, I will shut up now. I hope this helps. :)

i really loved my stay there it was right on beach and apartment was great there were so many u would nearly get lost i would have prefered more out door lighting for the dark nights but over all it was perfect and i will stay again

Very good location directly on beach just 10 mins from airport.Room 2195 excellent beach view & private.Beside all facilities,very big balcony with room for 3 sunbeds. table & 3 chairs.Pools very spacious & spotless lots of sunbeds.Buffet restaurant evening meal €15.00 includes wine (all you can drink) & soft drinks also - very good value.Great value break for 5 nights when combined with Ryanair flight.Enquire about Atlantico Shopping Centre 10 mins walk away along beach.

The 1st apartment we were shown had a serious damp problem the alternative were given was only marginally better after inspecting 2 alternatives. I am a property surveyor so i know serious damp when I see it. Unless you are going all inclusive in this resort dont take an apartment here, there are no eating facilities worth mentioning and the entertainment was a joke. 100% never staying in Barcelo Club Apartmenrs again
