room very noisy despite double glazing.no tea/coffee available in room.shower flex broken so could only use shower 'hand held'. poor fitting sink plug so water ran out almost as fast as it ran in. breakfast quite satisfactory. staff courteous and obliging.room clean and quite large. bedding changed daily (plus point!) think the star rating for the hotel is a bit generous!!

The air conditioning quality was so poor that it was hotter on the inside than it was outside on the streets. Had to risk leaving the door to my room open to get some kind of draft from the hallway air conditioner. The bathroom was kept neatly but the water pressure was non-existent as well the hot water. I would not recommend the hotel for traveling 20-something's, because I was treated as though at the age of 27 I was still not capable of behaving properly and that I still needed my parents or a chaperone to monitor my stay in the hotel.

Excellent value - would be very happy to stay there again. We were extremely lucky to get a back room with view of the Dome - overlooking the street would have been very noisy, but this is the same for most Florence hotels in the heart of the city.
