We had a problem on arrival,the room was not available but a room at another hotel was arranged and it didn't spoil our holiday.The hotel is in a lovely spot overlooking the river and very handy for the station and the town.

What a wonderful surprise to open the window and see the Arno. My mother and sister from New Zealand were especially impressed as they hadn't visited Florence before and I will certainly book into Casa Del Lago again if I am in the area.
