Our first room was shabby and unappealing. It was unacceptable. We immeadietly requested another room and were given wonderfull, elegent accomadations. Then we loved the Hotel. Fortunatly we changed rooms. You would not imagine you were even in the same hotel by the difference in room quality.

The hotel is in a perfect spot of Florence centre literally 2 minutes from the main square though there are no problems with noise. Although the staff were not overly enthusiastic or welcoming they were certainly helpful in all matters required. I would recommend this hotel to all types whilst staying in Florence.

Pokey room. Satellite TV went out before we arrived and it took 6 days to restore it. Average breakfast. You are definitely paying for the location. Would not recommend it for the price, over-rated. Look elsewhere is our advice. Florence is a lovely city for a break. Go to Fiesole fantastic views and interesting small town.

Hotel in excellent situation. Bedroom small, bathroom large. Facing busy street but windows shut out all noise. Excellent air conditioning. Staff very efficient and keen to please. Good breakfasts. Would probably stay there again if we ever return to Florence

Hotel Brunelleschi is located near the Duomo in the centre of Florence. The location is ideal for tourists wishing to explore the city. The hotel rooms are a little grandiose for my taste - particularly the junior suite - though they are well appointed and suficiently large. The only problem with the hotel is that the noise from outside can be overwhelming. On our first night we were awakened by a cacophony of sound coming from the street outside between 1 and 3 a.m. Sleeping was very difficult and this was exacerbated by the ringing of church bells from 7 a.m. I complained about this and was promptly upgraded free of charge to a junior suite. I certainly cannot complain about the level of customer service provided. Overall I'd rate the hotel as good - but noisy. I got a deal of a triple room B&B for £100/night which was excellent value. Due to the noise issue I would not like to have spent more money to stay at this hotel.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. room maids very friendly and efficient. Some waiters not so friendly and made asking for a cup of tea a chore! bathroom very large and clean although shower drainage was a problem, as needed to turn off shower midway through washing to allow water to drain away. Same in our childrens room opposite. Don't eat the snacks in the room, they cost a fortune!!
