A special word of praise for the dining room staff who were friendly and courteous and appear to work very hard, always smiling and chatting to guests. All our requests regarding the room location within the building were satisfied. Will be returning in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in the Las Arenas. The staff are friendly and efficent and the whole place is kept spotlessly clean. The evening enterainment was not up to scratch.We found the rooms to be quite small, in comparison to most modern hotels. The hotel is close to a very busy road, so there is quite a lot of traffic noise. There are several reasonably priced restaurants nearby. The tables in the dining room are much too close together.we were sharing breakfast and making conversation with total strangers at 8am in the morning. Not my idea of waking up, I'm a slow starter.
Now after all of my petty negative points I would recommend this hoel because it is in a very nice location,clean, quiet, close to the beach and a very pleasant 20 minute walk into Benalmadena marina, which is beautiful. << click here to read less |

The staff in evey depatment were excellent , friendly and curteous , the hotel is ideally located in the centre of the resort for easy walking access to the Marina at the left hand side of the prominade and the Casino on the right hand side of the prominade . The hotel is also ideally located to take buses to Torremelinos , Fuengirola, Marbella etc . When i return it will be my third stay,

As we stayed half-board, if I had one criticism, it would be concerning the food: I found it very repetitive, never hot enough, and the soup (although it was always given a name) had neither taste nor colour, was always luke-warm and the soup bowls never heated. Those taking coffee with breakfast were given flasks of hot coffee and milk, but those taking tea were hard done by - they were given one teapot that held about 2 cups of tea per 2 people - hence we were calling on a waiter regularly to refill our tea pot, as guests were not permitted to use the tea/coffee making faciilities. It would have made sense if the tea had been seerved in flasks too, like the coffee. Everything considered, the hotel was very good, the staff pleasant and helpful, and I would recommend Las Areenas to anyone. << click here to read less |

THE POOL WAS NOT VERY BIG BUT THE BEACH IS A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY. ENTERTAINNMENT IS NOT EXCITING BUT ALRIGHT FOR BACKGROUND MUSIC. GOOD BUSE NEAR BY GIVING CHEAP ACCESS TO FUENGEROLA AND TORREMOLINAS. WE HAD AN EXCELLENT BALCONY ROOM WITH A SEA VIEW, THE ONE DOWNSIDE WAS THE TRAFFIC NOISE DURING THE NIGHT. Excellent hotel, our second visit in 2006, both out of season and quality and service was of the same high standard. The hotel has a homely and friendly atmosphere with an ever helpful staff, especially in the dining room. A nice addition to breakfast is that the tea and coffee pots are brought to your table with the coffee being excellent. Guests staying during the week included German, Dutch, English and Spain was well represented, Benalmadena is not an ultra lively resort but Torremolinas, Malaga and Fuengirola are within a 30 minute bus ride. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, although it sits on a main road and guests may find the rooms on the front a little noisy, rooms are also situated on the side but still having a sea view << click here to read less |
