We found this hotel to be very good value for money, but you do get what you pay for, as they say, which is not a very good service, and .... click here to readmore >> We found this hotel to be very good value for money, but you do get what you pay for, as they say, which is not a very good service, and a very poor cleaning service. When we arrived we refused to stay in the room they provided, as it was dirty and really smelt of cigarettes, even though my partner is a smoker we couldnt have stayed in it. initially the guy on reception was very unhelpful and refused point blank to offer any alternatives or to resolve the problem, until we requseted his complaints book, which he told us he couldnt find and which is illegal in Spain. Once we requested to speak to his manager and asked for some papaer to write our complaint down, he contacted his manager who then offerrred us a temporary room for the night, until they could get us another room in the morning, which was a beautiful room and was clean. Despite our initial problems the staff were ok with us after this and it wasn't an issue. Just rememer that by law in Spain they have to have a complaints book, so that it can be inspected, and if they haven't you can contact the police, as this is a serious matter in Spain. << click here to read less

we were dissapointed upon arrival at hotel to be told we were at the wrong hotel the aparthotel location was in a different area of benal.... click here to readmore >> we were dissapointed upon arrival at hotel to be told we were at the wrong hotel the aparthotel location was in a different area of benalmedena than we expected it to be as we are frequent travellers to this area name of hotels nearly identical so check you know exact location before you book as we had to stay in the aloha playa in benalmedena not montemar area of benalmedena but must stress no mistake of rooms.net. given choice of location we would not return to this hotel as its on a busy noisy road but its kept really clean although it is in need of refurbishment .the studio rooms are duplex with living area downstairs and kitchen area and bathroom upstairs this could be a problem for disabled and elderly people .the staff were very friendly but i would not reccomend this aparthotel to friends and family . << click here to read less
