The Carihuela beach is nearby and great fun in the summertime and there is a ski run for winter fun some distance away. The resort centre with variety of local bars, restaurants, shops and relentless nightlife is nearby. Nearby La Carihuela offers its beaches and the chance to sample its renowned seafood delights.

the hotel Kristal is a good base to use if you only need somewhere clean to wash and sleep. The room we had had no view or balcony so if u like to sit and watch the world go by or see the sun set this isnt the place for you. I didnt find i was disturbed by noise but im a heavy sleeper. The reception was staffed 24 hours and they spoke good English ,and nothing was too much trouble which is nice. We were room only so cant comment on the food. Read Less

The Hotel was located in the centre of torremolinos ideal if you are not a beach person as the beach is to far away to many steps, also breakfast is only cheese and ham and bread buns no hot breakfast as described.
Staff very freindly and helpful good at understanding English for people from uk who dont speak spanish.
Hotel seems to be popular with school parties as for the week I stayed 3 groups of school children plus teachers were booked in so at meal times and evening hotel was full of screaming children just as if they were at playtime at school. Read Less

This hotel is as described by other people in previous reviews. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was not worth eating - I went out for breakfast! Facilities are basic and the staff reasonably helpful. The shower was not much more than a dribble. It was very noisy at night - the walls of the rooms are very thin and the noise outside echoes around the narrow streets. If all you want is somwhere cheap, clean, in the midlle of the town and are a heavy sleeper then this hotel will be OK. Read Less

Hotel is very well located in the Centre of Torremolinos and 10 minutes away from the beach. Rooms are cleaned everydat. However the food is AWFUL.Breakfast is a cold buffet with very limited choice and the same EVERY DAY (hard bread, slice of plain cheese, slice of ham & chorizo). The cereals are stale.Dinner is not very apetizing served with the same salad EVERYDAY, the fish is not tasty and the rest of the food. The staff is very cold and unfriendly. You cannot make any special request. If your flight is late in the evening and you want to keep the room to freshen up before you leave you have to pay an extra 20 Euros. All in all I would not recommend it for food and staff and entertainment. Hotel is well located and clean. Read Less

ideal location for the day tripper, next to train and bus stations.
Very close to all night clubs and pubs----not good for the early bedder or light sleeper.Continental breakfast every day exactly the same, rolls, cold meat, cheese and continental buns. Good range of breakfast drinks, teas, coffees, juices. One cereal-poor quality corn flakes.
8pm start evening meal superb---2/3 choices and very tasty.Choice of sweet and fruit to follow. No evening fluids, table purchase of water and drinks.Could not see any rooms with veranda.Good for price and conveniece. Read Less
