Most of the staff are the same cheerfull people that I remember from all My previous stays, which must say something good for the management here. Especialy as I first used this hotel approximately 4 years ago!
There is a nice variety off food at the breakfast buffet with staff replemishing it regulary. Although the brekfast room can get a little busy at times there is plenty room and plenty food on offer.
The rooftop terace ; pool is wel worth spending some time on amazing views as far as the eye can see and it realy is very relaxing and surprisingly quiet for an open area in a busyish town.
All in all this hotel is well worth a visit. Which is a big statement coming from Me as I can be a bit difficult too please! But time and time again the Staff at the Cervantes make it a pleasent and memorable stay. << Click here to read less

There is however no atmosphere in this hotel or any entertainment in the evening. The food was also particularly spanish and luke warm. I found this a fantastic hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and kept very clean, and had a nice balcony with a great view. There was a great selection of food for breakfast even later in the morning. I cannot understand some of the poor reviews this hotel has got. Yes ok so the lifts might be a little slow sometimes but so what ! If that is the biggest complaint people have they should have just used the stairs. The pillows were maybe a little soft for some people but just ask for another as we did and we were given extra pillows straight away. Ok we went out of season but the weekend we stayed was a spanish holiday weekend and the hotel was very busy with lots of spanish guests and we had no problem getting lifts, help from staff or even just a chat with staff on reception or in the bar.The location is excellent and we would recommend a walk up the precinct to the restaurant 'La Ola', which had fantastic food and excellent staff.
I would advise you to be aware there is a 15 euro per day charge for parking in the underground car park, we followed another car through the gate when we first got there and when we went out a couple of days later and had to buzz in the reception advised us of the charge but when we said we were not aware of that, they said it was ok and to leave the car down there and we were not charged at all for the parking. I booked this Hotel for My Parents only for 1 night as a stop over, prior too them continuing on too there time share apartment which is of very high standard. I was delighted too find that they were very happy with their stay there.(they can be hard to please at times)!
They even commented that they would delighted too Use the Cervantes again, even for a longer stay.
They also commented on how helpfull the staff were and the high standard the Hotel achieves.

breakfast was reasoable but repetitive,evening meals,dont bother,lots of
resteraunts nearby,renovations in progress to entrance foyer while we where there which did not help gym as advertised non existant indoor pool area grotty sun lounges without mattresses very uncomfortable,we went quite early in year april/may which they used as a excuse,didnt wash with me though after complaining to manager who agreed with every thing we said which suprised us,he gracously waived the bill for the one night we dined in would not go back.

I would like to thank Rooms Net .Com , for getting me such a competitive price for my recent stay at the Cervantes Hotel in Torremolinos Spain.
Having stayed in this hotel earlyer in the year I had tried to book My accomidation direct with the Cervantes, but they could not beat Rooms Net .Com's price.
The Cervantes is a Spanish 4 star which in My opinion is equal to a 3 star hotel in the Uk.
The hotel staff are very freindly, helpful, and courteous for that I would rate them 5 star on both of My visits this Year.
The Hotel appears too be undergoing some upgrading at the moment which is being carried out very discreetly ; would not affect anyones stay there!
Fantastic views of the Med' and Torremolinos are too be had from the roof top Terrace ; pool. Also from most of the rooms Balconys.
The hotel has several bars, restaraunt, gardens, 2 pools (1 in garden ; 1 on roof terrace), Television lounge, internet connection, etc
The hotel is in a great location, 5 mins walk from buses, trains, shops, bars, ; restaraunts etc. 10 mins from the beach front with a choice of steps down or a lift (lift is 50c).
I would definately recommend the Cervantes ; will use this hotel myself again.

I' ve been in Cervantes last february, the hotel pleased me a lot.
I stayed in the Cervantes in October/November 08, not the first time Ive stayed here. Fantastic Hotel and would recommend too anyone. As usual the staff are very friendly and helpfull, I first found this Hotel about 4years ago & every time I go too the South of Spain, I stay here (it almost feels like home)!!!
